Unveiled

Been wrestling down the vision for a new meeting that will launch from the ground of 24-7. Yesterday I came up with the central most idea of “Moving the people of God from a knowledge of Him to knowing Him.” As I prayed about the name I came down with the name Unveiled.

This morning as I prayed about which devotion I should read, opened up my book to 72 and the title is Lifting the Veil, a reflection on 2 Cor. 3:12-18. Weird.

2 Cor. 3:12-18

12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. 14But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

    1. Wow Melody thanks for the feedback! Honestly, this meeting and vision seem to have a life of its on, it’s kinda scary. Please pray that we would be faithful to fulfill God’s vision for it. When I know when it is, I’ll be sure to let you know about the birth of it.
