the wait

Those who avoid His presence have misjudged His infinite worth. He waits with righteous white robe in hand. Tired and weary from watching His sons and daughters strive without His help. They hurt and He cries out. They run from Him and he runs to them. Confusion reeks havoc on the most profound relationship ever formed, one formed with the blood of God. Brokenness is the nature of this union. To those who choose to encounter it,  the union tears the human heart in half at the greatness of the love.

But in most cases it’s not, and He waits holding a robe and a ring. His arms never grow tired from holding them out. Why wait any longer? Be lavished in His love and unconditional acceptance. He’s waiting.
