Swaddling a baby is a very old practice in caring for babes. The mother or father of a child takes a blanket and tightly wraps the baby so as to mimic the comfort and protection of the mother’s womb. It is also noted that in swaddling a baby you are putting them a position that they can grow correctly, without deformity.
It’s my opinion that “swaddling” new born Christians in love is a necessity. They need to feel the same comfort of the God who drew them to salvation. So that they experience an environment of security and safety so that they can grow correctly.
Who do you know that needs less theology and more “swad-ology”?
