Was talking to one of my friends yesterday who happens to not have a home, a car, or a wife; but who has Christ. Recently he had been working 6 days a week, 12 hours a day, for a long while. He said that his boss would get mad at him when he gave his money away to those who had needs. He said that the money was a burden to him. I have not always had eyes to see this as beautiful, but today I do. If only we could grasp how much of a blessing it is suppose to be to us when we lay down our lives for our friends.

Somehow in a way that is almost impossible to fully grasp, Blessed are the poor.
