Unfortunately many people have Stockholm Syndrome and like being oppressed by a “leader” other than Christ. It’s a good thing that God’s word and Gospel has safeguarded us from having to perpetuate that lie. “For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all.” 1 Tim 2:5
