I could not understand the video Jason.. I guess it was all about death and dead things. To me it was depressing to watch, but then death is depressing, isn’t it?
Yes, Ms. Mary, the video is kind of dark and mysterious. Matthew Perryman Jones is an Artist in the most abstract sense of the word. I feel like the video not only portrays the darkness of death but the beauty of redemption and life after death. Some of the last words of the song are “The stones in the city walls are pulled from the riverbed.” And the video shows the girl who “died” to be alive at the end…. This reminds me of the New Jerusalem where we are to be living stones. Anyways… love you guys! Let’s try and get together soon?
